Close observational drawing, with a tendency towards intricate detail, has always formed the core of Kim's practice. Minute structures of the body, physical manifestations of a psyche in turmoil, the skin as surface and palimpsest, the traces we leave upon the world and the imprint it leaves upon us are recurring themes.

Kim completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (First Class Honours) at the University of Ballarat, and was awarded a scholarship to study a Master of Fine Art at the University of Dundee in Scotland.  Since then she has exhibited extensively, been a finalist in numerous awards, and undertaken residencies around the world in Italy, Japan, Scotland and Australia.

These limited edition prints are all from her highly popular series A Natural Comparison, inspired by a residency in Hill End, NSW.
